GENEVA! (Part 2)
Part 2, this is going to be general overview of things that happen on the way to Geneva, while we were there and the way home, just not the stuff that has to do with the Debating and conference things. we were flying from stanstead airport so its pretty small but my mum dropped me off and i had my luggage and my big camera (which i didn't even need!) and I was wondering around the airport looking for my teachers.
I heard a voice say "Dan, Dan, over here"
And it was one of my teachers who is probably the most fun teacher there is, and we had seat and drank hot chocolate waiting for everyone to arrive.
Once we got through security we decided it was time to chow down and get some food, because thats the most important thing right? The 4 of us (Me, Devon, Andrew and Will) were told that we had to keep an eye on the screens and when our gate opened we had to make our way down the the plane. Me and Devon went for a sandwich at small cafe and the other 2 boys went off somewhere else. When our flights gate opened me and devon went to the gate and our two teachers were waiting there for us. But Andrew and Will were NOWHERE to be seen. Me and Devon got on the plane and took our seats and after about 10 minutes the 2 teachers and the boys were still not on the plane and we actually started to think that we were going to flying alone :p
We were soon joined by the rest of the group to find out that the other 2 boys had been waiting for the wrong flight to geneva that was taking off several hours later! so we were all very relieved that everyone made it on to the plane unharmed. Until i managed to bite my tongue EXTREMELY hard whilst eating something which caused my tongue to bleed and then became swell so i couldn't speak very well for several hours, haha I'm so silly!
After leaving the airport to we managed to get lost in the middle of Geneva after going to the wrong place to meet our hosts. AND it was getting dark and cold, and none of us had signal. After about an our our hosts arrived and me and Andrew were both being hosted by a boy called Abishek who was really nice and his family were super friendly, so we felt so welcomed and they gave us crazy delicious food! (oh yeah I'm talking about food yet again, idc)
Whilst in the airport waiting for our flight home me, Andrew and Will thought it would be funny to hide from our teachers, but the waiting room was glass, and we could see our teachers looking around for us and thought it was really funny, and when we had to board we suddenly appeared and the teachers could see us the whole time -_-
Then on the flight home i managed to stupidly leave my wallet in my seat pouch on the plane and didn't realise to i left the airport, and i was refused to go back on the plane and get it so i had to call lost property and go through all that drama of getting it back, but after a week i got it back just without any of the money in it which was super annoying, so i reported it to the police, but i'll that story for another day.
There's still more to come so just wait till i get around to typing it up, because i suck at typing and i make so many spelling mistakes, till next time
